@jcomeau amd mgm92...in order.....anyone please correct me if I'm wrong...yes, backpacks are allowed on concert field but they will be searched..no personal alcohol...you must buy alcohol inside the venue. You may bring ONE sealed 24 oz or less bottle of water onto the concert field. Hydration packs allowed but they must be empty upon entry. You can fill them up once inside the venue. You can drink all personal alcohol at your campsite but you can't bring any into venue. Yes bicycles are allowed but not on the concert field. They must be locked up (plenty of places to do this) before you enter concert field. Plenty of room to ride bicycles. I'm bringing bicycles this year to get around easier because last year the heat and long walks almost killed me.

so you can use the bike to get around the arts craft areas and bathrooms? or the beach? and you said there are places to lock em up but do you remember where they are? right outside concert field? bathrooms?

if you have a lock that can fit using a chain link fence, that is the most abundant place to lock your bikes up i think there were some bike stands but cant remember clearly as i am a hoofer... lots of good biking there but you will have to walk it through checkpoints and i am pretty sure you cant bring it onto the main stage field if you camp in west camping (tazwookistan) a bike is a great idea as it is a good walk to the stage

between set changes the main road gets too busy to ride sometimes but usually you can use the bike lane without too many problems. people are gettng used to leaving that open and there are more bikes each year, too. don't forget to decorate your bike with lights or something too! i also bring a basket and a bungee to attach it - really invaluable.

throw a couple beers in, ride over to someone's campsite to hang out, throw a water in, don't have to carry it, stuff an extra shirt in it.... the first year we were back at bridgeport, it was my last time out the door and the basket that holds my mail on the kitchen wall caught my eye. h :mmmmm. grabbed and emptied it and haven't not brought it since.

I highly recommend bringing a skateboard if you have one. No need to lock anything up!so you can use the bike to get around the arts craft areas and bathrooms? or the beach? and you said there are places to lock em up but do you remember where they are? right outside concert field? bathrooms?

Hi all, thanks for this FAQ page, it's great! Re: camelbaks/water bottles, this is quoted from the Vibes website. I'm thinking of printing it and taking it with me because last year some of the security guards were unaware that you could bring empty bottles through the check points and it was quite annoying! See you there!
Attendees walking from the camping areas into general assembly areas may pass through security check points with:
- 1-24 oz sealed or unsealed water per person. No coolers.
- Any non-alcohol beverage purchased from a food vendor may pass through security check points.
- Per state law, you cannot bring alcohol into the concert or general assembly areas.
- Any container larger than 24 oz needs to be emptied and can be refilled at our free water station (located at the Food Court)
- Empty CamelBacks, or empty water bottles up to 1 gallon, may be brought into General Assembly and filled at our free filling stations.
