It was massively fun. I absolutely LOVE the venue, so cool to have 20 lanes of bowling right down the side of the room, with 10-12 massive screens above the pins showing the band...they had pitchers of water everywhere with cups...what a nice touch...they threw some folks out for smoking and let them back in after a while (I guess they needed to learn their lesson)
The band was fun as hell, I sensed them holding back a bit on night one..pacing if you will...nice jams but not crazy over the top, the song selection was outstanding and I suspect they will repeat a bunch of them.
The crowd kinda sucked...too many yapping hipsters...but so it goes these days I guess. Great seeing Q and a lot of the old time Folk folks.
Can't wait for tomorrow in B-Town and then off to Portland...which I predict will be totally nuts.
