Would be the first time working for the feds. US Forest Service trail crew in good ol' southern New Mexico.. Gila Wilderness for folks familiar with the country. It's beautiful country, in fact our nations first wilderness! I think it's also the largest in the lower 48.
Only thing I'm worried about is how well my ankle will hold up, since surgery a year ago. Haven't done hard core trail work in a while, but I think I'll have about a month of serious rehab to strengthen it and get ready.
Boo ya! Got a job offer.

Thanks man! Shouldn't jinx it actually, I have a "tentative offer" pending my background check goes through ok. We'll have to wait and see about that 
I should know for sure very soon, like within a week. But this is big. I've been out of work since mid Jan. It's stressful. This gig is no more than 6 months long, but hopefully it will lead up to something more permanent, or else it's back to the drawing board. One thing at a time.

Man, nice! Work in the truely great outdoors was a dream of mine once. Hope it rolls your way! Now get thet ankle in shape!
