Phanphest presents...a "Phanphest North" Concert Series show featuring house band SUNFLOWER & THE SEEDS on their own home turf (opening and closing the show) with special guest, Asbury Park, NJ-based MASH MCLAIN, as well as Philadelphia-based SONNI SHINE & THE UNDERWATER SOUNDS. While Sunflower & the Seeds blend acoustic guitar with a more traditional rock sound, Mash McLain embodies the rootsy type acoustic singer songwriter with powerful lyrical content and a folk reggae sound. Sonni Shine & the Underwater Sounds play a blend of reggae, dub, and funk, making a unique ethereal sound of their own. The show is only $8.00, and is highly recommended - all three acts have deadlocked female front people, so what's not to like about this line-up!? Great drinks (and prices!), great people, and great music will make this an awesome night out on the town in North Jersey...be there, or be trapezoid!
