Wow depending on the acts they may end up losing more people to this

Between All Good and that fest it seems like there won't be a lot out there to book but what do I know.

Yup.......looks like were getting ass screwed this year.
My guess is the regular bands.
Mucous Hart:lol:
Los Loogies
and whatever leftovers they can toss together.
Mostlikely ringo star and his all crap band.
Oh joy... I finally make it back to Vibes and spend the money for VIP and we are getting leftovers....

"Gathering of the Vibes continues to spread its wings into new musical genres, promising the most eclectic line up to date..."
That doesn't mean that much to me....I was there for the first one..and although I've missed a few ...everyone ...with the exception of last years addition of janes addiction...was celebration of Jerry Garcia and the music he influenced
If I want to go eclectic I'd spend my money at bonaroo...the people setting the line up should say...what would Jerry want here
...then no matter who they book it'll be good

That'll be known before vibes too
I wonder if the lineup is always later than other fests because Ken & Co don't bribe...
Have faith kiddies...less skrocky and stanimal (could be 2 bands Jerry hates this year

Agreed. Hey maaaan it's about the "vibe." Fuckin blow me, it's a music festival. I don't want to have a $500+ weekend to go hangout with friends, I can do that for free. I want to hang out with friends and see some really cool music. If the peach fest lineup is good, fuck the vibes, i'm going there.Honestly I am even pissed at this point. Treat your fans well. Let them know what is going on. April fucking second seriously.

waiting 3 months before the fest, in my opinion, is hard on the wallet, and my ability to be responsible as i have to 'plan ahead'. couldn't wait any longer.... i am now officially out of the vibes and here i come mighty high

Uh... Navarro's a huge dead head, pretty sure the rest of the band has a ton of respect for jerry as well. Perry Ferrell reinvented the modern music festival... I don't really understand why so many people were hating on janes addiction being on last years line up.

I know that keeps slipping some folks minds...and the fact that some folks throw the it's supposed to be about Jerry excuse and then they start rattling off Bands that Jerry more than likely would never listen to or admire in the least. Just say you hate Jane's and move on already. 1 freakin' band outta 40 and it's bitch bitch bitch
edited to add...folks got to understand you can't have all alike bands and there is nothing disrespectful to Jerry for wanting to add a little variety. You want all Jambands...start a Jamband fest
