They are festival portos. The League Office does a pretty good job of keeping them maintained, but they are still festival portos.

An ez up and lots of water are key. you will survive the portos. Immodeum is your friend

THanks for all the help, does it matter what time to show up? like first arrivers get best sites or they are put father away?

If you hang around these parts for a bit they'll come out with a call for "boardie camping" signups (not sure exactly when they do it) that's prolly your best bet prolly. Otherwise get there right when it opens as early arrivals usually get their entry delayed.

Upsguy is wondering what Tabbooma does with "waste" from said tent porto during/after fest? Especially if he is eating clams and lobster all weekend. lol Upsguy would not want to find that groundscore after a 4 day fest.

8am arrival. Not 4 am, 2 am, 6 am.... 8 am. If you get there early you will end up in the holding lot and we dont release that until after everyone else gets through. Please dont come early and clog up the roads of BPT - mkay?

Campers are parked in a sort of a round robin. there is not guarantee that if you are first in line you will get the best spot, nor does it mean if you are 300th in line you will get the furthest spot. We park a few cars at a time in an area to make sure everyone can get in safely, then we send the next set of people to another area of the park, and so on.

Bring frozen water bottles! They help your cooler stay cold and are refreshing too!

Bring something to piss in if you get stuck in the long lines leading into the venue. Make sure you have enough gas as well.....saw a few people pushing or being towed last year.

Pack everything you think you'll need and then remove 3/4's of it, because you'll never use it and it will annoy you cleaning it up!

Same way we do. Dump into a porto, toilet or RV waste station. A decent portable is relatively easy to empty without all the unpleasant side effects you might imagine.

Patience...it took me 5 hours in line to get to my camp site...I got there at 7:30am Thursday..plus got lousy camp site right at Mid-West beach while those that came later got closer to stage. The heat killed me. Record temps. 104 degrees on Friday..This year I got VIP so I don't have to walk so far. I'm getting old and last year about killed me....lol...But I'm back!!
