Aidan (age 10)is going to another Bat Mitzvah,,he said "Mom, what exactly is a Bat Mitzvah" and I said "it's like Hannah moving on to a new part of her life, and becoming a young woman" he blinked, made a face and said "she's gonna get her period?"

One Christmas, Cate (3 at the time) comes home & starts talking about 'that guy' - I couldn't figure it out until she started trying to describe a manger too & then I said are you talking about Jesus & she said yes
