I'd like to get something simple that "goes" with my engagement ring. I need to find one of those wrap around ones, because it's an awkward shape, and a regular wedding band won't fit around it.
I would like something like this, because it matches the style of mine, but when wearing it next to the engagement ring, I'm left with space in between because the diamond is different shaped if you know what I mean.

Not as thick. Thinner.
I want to be able to wear both rings together.

Georgi- have you talked to someone about designing you a ring? That's how I got mine- went to the jeweler, did some sketches, and they did a sample before making the real one. I would highly recommend finding someone who will do this so you get exactly what you want.

We were hoping I would find something I liked when we were at the Cape last week, but of course, no luck, so we are going to keep doing more searching.
I had the idea of buying a "temporary" one for the wedding, and when we go on our honeymoon on a cruise, to look in St. Thomas or any of the other islands we are going to for a nice wedding ring.
Decisions decisions!

I've decided that I'm going to wear my engagement ring on my right hand. I ended up getting a band that won't really fit right next to my engagement ring, and I don't want to wear them next to each other because I don't want my wedding band rubbing the antique band (if that makes sense). I guess I could wear them together, but a girl I work with showed me her engagement ring, and hers has a spot on it that was worn down from the wedding band rubbing it.
We just have to get it resized and then we are good to go!

i finally got a good pic of my engagement ring and my wedding band together on my fingah 
wheee!!!
my wedding band has an awesome garland design. i got it from Brilliant Earth. i love it because it is so dainty, and it doesn't take away from the beauty of his grandmother's engagement ring.. YAY marriage

Nice rings everyone!
We're just in the process of researching our wedding bands. We're looking to get our rings custom made out of black titanium, with a heart-shaped ruby set into the surface of mine and we're thinking that Tyler's will be black and white titanium with the colour divide along the equator of the ring.
I specially requested *not* to receive an engagement ring, which took a little convincing, b/c apparently it's not really "normal" for someone to turn down such a thing... Well, I never did say I was normal!
Anyways, it's really fun doing this kind of research... I think we'll make the decision on the stone for my ring when Tyler is up here next week. I'll post some pics when I can.

lola- your ring ideas sound great! have you browsed on Etsy.com at all for vendors who can do custom stuff??
Oh, I didn't even think of Etsy, what a great idea!
I know of a couple titanium ring makers via the interweb that have some gorgeous stuff and I have been in conversation with one to see if they can set a heart-shaped stone flush with the ring's surface, I am really hoping that they can b/c I am a fan of their work... And black titanium is just dynamite, it is a really wonderful material.
I am gonna go and check Etsy now... Thanks so much for the tip!!!

Diamonds are my birth stone, but I have always loved rubies most of all... Closely followed by emeralds... I love the coloured stones!
Diamonds are mine as well.
My former Dr. had an engagement ring that was a heart shaped ruby, with a diamond on either side.

Thanks! The whole process of selecting the stone and designing the ring was so much fun - it was a total delight tosee that it came out just like we had envisioned!
Tyler selected a really cool ring too, altho he decided to pass on including a gemstone. The jeweller is in Montreal, and specializes in titanium. I'll post a pic once we have it.
