If you can make that seafood buffet at the Orleans Fri. night do it. Raw clams, oyster, cooked also, gumbos Snow crab, king crab,and shrimps. Man they didn't make any $$$$s on me with all the oyster i slurped. Check out the Doors thing there doing down on Freemont, very cool. Have fun

On my way to Vegas tomorrow 9am. Year 17 and running, and back to the Rock after a couple of years at Planet Hollywood.
Psyched to see the guys (12 of us this year) and psyched for the 90 degree weather for our poolside cabana on Saturday.
Also psyched I'm working too as it wouldn't have been half as much fun in Vegas unemployed

I get in around noon on Friday, hit it hard for two straight days, then out on the flight-of-pain Sunday 7am.
I didn't read this whole thread but are you in town DHJ? I'm with a group of 12 old buds and typically we don't venture too far from the casino/hotel we stay at unless there's something going on. Come on by if you're in town. But be prepared. We're certifiably nuts

We left everything (except the Hard Rock) in one piece for you.
Its Tuesday and I'm still in a world of hurt...which means it was the usual great time in Vegas
Usually takes me a month to get over that place. My buddy was out of his work for a week after the last trip. The post wedding bachelor party was epic.
I love it, but I also REALLY hate it.

Yo Josh, staying at The Rio? Which suite do they have you in?
One of the super sick ones, or the regular jobbies?
Last time I was in town I thought i'd switch it up and stay at THE Hotel, big mistake. Unfortunately, they know exactly who I am, whereas The Rio just lumps me in with my bro:funny1:. Never again!
Ever go to Drai's and hang with the absolut scum of the earth? It's fun, but you definitely leave feeling like you need a shower.
One of the super sick ones, or the regular jobbies?

Yep at the Rio, Suite 1655. It's a corner suite with a full strip view. Only place in the world where I sleep with the curtains wide open. Steve Miller show is tonight.

so steve miller canceled. S'ok. Last night was a blur. Wound up downtown wrestling with the kickin' chicken...then on to the rhino. That place is a vortex of evil.
Totally DUDE! Insane, evil shit! Whatever you want. Drai's is the true vortex of evil though.

Yo Josh, is that your full time vegas look, or do you just wear the glasses and muttons for certain occasions? I like it. It's class A shit, man.
I just wear 'em for the "big night out"...or if I know I'm going downtown.
I'm not allowed to wear them to the Rhino.

DHJ, sorry I never met up with you, or ever posted about my trip. I got super busy when I got home.
The trip out there was insane also. Once of my buddies won like 3 grand right before we went out on Friday night to Crazy Horse. He was throwing 100$'s at every one in the group, saying "do you need full release?"
The next day he won another 2 grand. We then went to Studio 54 at night. He walked up to the door man handed him some cash and said, I do not wait in lines. We walked right in. Then he paid for us to get a private table with a bottle of Stoli and a bottle of Crown.
Then Sunday we had a private invite to go to some maxim pool party, and one of the other dudes rented a cabanna.
That is what we did, the hilariousness that ensued was priceless!
