I am a bit of a star wars geek, but have held off on the movies with the boy. I figured I saw them at 6, so that is the age I will break them out for him (at least that is the plan, he is 4 1/2 now). He does know some of the characters due to my desk toys, but he doesn't know the story at all.

That said, the less he ever knows about midichlorins, the better! I'll watch the star wars Christmas special, the ewok tv movies and the droids and ewok cartoon series with him before we ever pop in an episode 1 dvd
