all everyone is do is throw poop at each other now...even those who were once civil have resorted to condescending snootiness and everyone in here just looks like a troll anymore. i are walk away. maybe i'll pop in from time to time if something interesting comes up and i do still enjoy the doc club so mebbe i'll continue on that. i'll always be lurking though. have at it, folks.

I spent months building civil conversation in this forum about issues and encouraged others to participate. It didn't take long for mold to grow though. You're not exempt either, vic.

One of the qualities you possess that I deeply admire is your willingness to engage others who offer views opposing your beliefs. You're much better at that than me and most everyone I've ever met honestly. You are the definition of open minded.
I'd have to imagine the only reason you've chose to silence one particular voice is that like me, you feel that that voice isn't motivated to expand conversations/ideas/debate. That voice (self admittedly) is here to destroy idea exchanges for self entertainment purposes via trolling.
I always thought the ignore feature was unnecessary. Now I understand why it's there....

Yeah, it's reactivated and I'm not playing anymore. Ive given PF way too many benefits of the doubt. He just is not interested in expanding conversations. He is here to deliberately derail them.
Perhaps if enough of us that like to discuss simply ignore him, we can move the pendulum back to civil, thoughtful discussion instead of the spiral into derpville.

It was not a very serious statement. I don't have studies. All studies must start out with a hypothesis. My statement was a hypothesis.
I can't imagine anyone choosing to expose themselves to the amount of danger they must face for the small amount of pay.
But who knows. It wasn't supposed to be some offensive statement. I didn't realize we had so many undercover cop boardies.
