ohhh, what a cute picture! thank you all.
back to the dr today - finally got in to see dr adams my primary - and he changed the antibiotic to one that i hope works!!
i hadn't seen him since early january so it was good to touch base after all that's been going on this year.... fingers crossed that this rx works!

that's my zumba butt!!
thank you all so much...

my congestion miiiiight be starting to break up. finally!
oncologist said yesterday that sinus issues are tough and sometimes his patients have to be on an antibiotics for a month before it clears up.
my remaining eyelashes have turned quite a dark red
my knees are still achy, wasn't expecting it to last this long but maybe this is the cumulative part. i didn't know shins could hurt.
i did have fewer baseball bats this round.... not sure what i'll do for acupuncture for the last 2 rounds of chemo, will talk to her about it today.
i still have my snow tires on.
i try to do at least some things in the house or yard, every day, even on the most painful and wobbly, stuffy and coughy ones. i do not appreciate my brother telling me i have to go for a walk every day in order to get any exercise, nor do i appreciate my father calling me up to say the same thing after my brother had stopped by to see him the other day. the tale teller and the parrot, greaaat. my brother hasn't even been here in almost 3 weeks, he hasn't even seen what i've done much less things he wouldn't see and i had just finished telling him that iiiiiiii was the one who cut all those branches down off the fence, cut them up and bagged them and brought them out to the street for pickup, w.t.f.f. and am i supposed to hire someone to mow the lawn now anyway?
aaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnyyyywayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
i'm doing okay.
the pain should get a little less each day, for the next 6 days or so at least, and i will enjoy that. my energy should increase a bit and i hope to be less congested soon and i will enjoy that too. when i need to rest i will enjoy snuggling with the kittehs and reading whatever i have on hand (really must get my library card updated......). i do not need to frankenstein my way around the neighborhood (kind of what i look like when i walk these days
). father's day is sunday, have to do something about that still. but overall, i am doing oookay. i am doing alllllll right. things could be a LOT worse!
and i can't wait for vibes!!! "one wayyyyy or the other....."
thank you all so much...

moving is great for getting rid of stuff, isn't it?
i'm reading novels but not by anyone in particular. i find i don't care for political thrillers but other than that i've enjoyed everything i've read this spring so far and it's been a variety. how aweseome, thank you.
i don't know why it does that Joe, one of the new board quirks.
thanks for the good wishes, yours always work great.
in general, i am finally getting rid of the head and chest congestion!
it took a couple of rounds of mucinex over the weekend to really break it up but it's such a relief to begin to feel better! went to yoga tonight for the first time in a couple of weeks, it was difficult and i felt really stiff but it was nice to be there. the instructor and her mom - who is an amazing person - who own the studio are going to put their heads together and come up with some ideas as to what they might be able to do for me, reiki sessions for instance. oh, and i was sitting outside the room before we were let inside and someone said to me "is that you??" 'excuse me?' "isn't that you?? on that poster??"
so i look at the bulletin board and sure enough there's one of the Play for Ray posters - that benefit i mentioned a few pages back - hanging on the wall right there in front of me! "huhhh...... well this doesn't feel weird at all!!" and they all laughed and a few asked about the history of Play for Ray. funny.

Been to a people pile party or so myself. My interest in people piles is more along the lines of what's helping Nancy get through this these days though.
And one amazing woman.
((((Nancy))))
^^this! yes! for sure! that nancy is one amazing woman, and we all love her so! hope your day is splendid, nancy, and that the heat doesn't get you down! memories of vibes last year!

siooo, started coughing up blood about 2am and looked it up in my 'big book o' side effects' and it's in there, apparently a symptom of a side effect from the taxol. so i called my onc this morning and spent 3 1/2 hours getting xrays and a ct scan and bloodwork and they do not think it's a pulmonary embolism. they hope that it's just that my lungs are worn out from coughing for so long, but i have an appt with a pulmonologist tomorrow morning.
ran a couple errands and had acu and now i am home, i have no joint, muscle, voodoo doll or baseball bat pain, and i have nothing required of me for the rest of the evening and i am going to go for a quick swim (not supposed to be in the sun too much) and then RELAX!!!!
my sister just texted me "sooo, time to go for that walk now right!??" why you.....
