ohhhh, the ironing, the healing dude has a cold!!! but he did fix my single biggest issue from the other meds, and, as the wacky ponytail wearing nurse Steve said yesterday "hey, you can't poo poo that stuff!" the dude, Doug, was going on and on about the other services he offers on the phone, stuff about prayers, and blessings and chanting, and love love love love looooooooooove. (he says that love part fairly often and always squeals on the last one... ) but my brain couldn't keep up with his pace, so said i'd just wait for next tuesday. that will be right before mt jam. and my oncologist is thrilled about a few days away as long as it's not this weekend and as long as i'm smart and careful. but speaking of careful i stubbed my toe reallllllly bad this morning on a warped board on the deck. in 10 minutes the entire bottom half of the nail was dark purple as per the podiatrist a few years ago i first soaked it in hyd peroxide for 10 minutes or so. then i put some traumeel on it, a little wet piece of cloth then an ice pack and i'm sitting here with my foot up now. damn me.... thank you S and K and M and T!!!

oh man, this taxol shit is for the birds! i have awful joint pain in my hips and my knees especially. i'm walking a lot like my dad does. i'm reading online and some people have this pain loooonnng after chemo ends, yowzers! hopefully the acu can help with this in the future rounds though, this is nuts.

and they recommend the freaking percocets to manage it!!!

Hope you are pain free quickly Nancy, not fun at all. Tabbooma could step on your foot so your joint pain goes away, your foot will hurt though

Maybe your dr. or emmajean can tell you if COQ 10 (it's a nutritional supplement that's good for joint pain) is allowed for you. See you soon!

awww, that's sweet, thank you.

the oncologists don't love supplements, but maybe i'll ask the doc for next time. i know i can't take glucosamine. i'm really hoping emmajean can make it much less painful for the next round - she fixed the neulasta bone pain although that was nothing compared to this. and i doubt i'll keep getting the neulasta, too. my knees feel a little better today and i'm not getting hit by a baseball bat in sudden random locations so i'm considering today an improvement over the past couple, so far. yay.

I'm watching a chipmunk right outside my glass patio door. She's darting in and out of a hole in the wall of my house. It was frustrating me horribly until a minute ago when she stopped, sat, and smiled at me for a minute. That made me smile. Now I'm ok with the darting.

i gave her a massive dose of vitamin c and took as good care of her as i could but i think she was coughing a bit on sunday

i didnt have the ick but i definitely heard some coughing both on and off the field

when you do come back, i have a blue plastic bin of yours...all it had in it is 4 AA batteries and some hospital tape
if its something you need, i can mail it
