That's the one. I've had it for about 8 years or so. I think it's on its last leg. It has served me well.Ah yes, it was that large white cooler with the small access door in the middle? Nice style!
It is when it comes in 16 lb bags.64 lbs of ice seems like the magic amount.
Food shopping next.
Food?

Good afternoon. Dead cat blues. Mom's back's messed up, too. At the office. Should do some work. Hating not having a cat who gives a shit when I come home. Orange boy doesn't even bother to come down from the loft. Want to dig two holes and lay in one kind of day. Bah. I think I need to eat something. Fucking shit ...
Sorry for the extra sunshine. In good news, dead cat blues trumps any post-vibes blues that might've presented themselves. Here's hoping my mom doesn't wind up in the hospital this weekend. (or that they just do surgery, if she does)

Thanks. I usually drink every five years or so. I had a midori sour the other week. Tonight calls for another one. Yay for places with good food and girlie drinks that don't taste like alcohol within walking distance. I like to drive far too much to make a habit of drinking, but I don't have to drive tonight.
Yay, office couch. I think I'm going to tell my mom that either Bossy (Mike's cat) comes to hang with me while I clean my apartment or I'm adopting a new little buddy. As for her, she was able to get onto her back and she's got enough things to keep her pain-free well into tomorrow, if not the entire weekend. Yay, Western medicine.
I paid my phone bill, earlier today. I need a ft job, like, yesterday.
Mother fudge.
I can't wait to pass out. This will all be here tomorrow. The stitch in my mouth came loose, so I cut the string and pulled it out. Alcohol will help keep it clean, right? Right. I see ribs, in my near future.
Tornado watch from 5pm-7pm. Yeah, right.
Sun is shining outside, here. Yabba dabba doo, pretty soon. Sleep is going to be awesome.

Today I feel poisonous. Another good friend of ours died, and this time it was suicide. We loved him like family, we miss him, we wish we understood, but can't,and probably never will and still I'm so fucking pissed I could spit. So what makes THAT part fade away?

Thanks guys. I'm sitting here just being pissed mostly cause he was one of the sweetest kids we know. When he found out we were just going to go to the diner for Thanksgiving last year cause everybody thought everybody else invited us to dinner, he insisted we go to his brothers place and called up the family and told them to set 2 more places on Thanksgiving day at 1:00 pm, and since we know the whole family they all cheered us on.
He was like you guys...no questions asked, no explanations necessary, just "whatever you need and I have, you got it"
REALLY gonna miss him

I emailed Derek about volunteering, still no reply. Without that... it's unlikely. Could maybe swing a Sunday day pass. We'll see. Keeping my fingers crossed for a volunteer slot!
Let us know if we need to grease the wheels for you, Dee. I'm sure there's a volunteer spot for you somewhere
