I am back from two days of oppression school@!
You know when you retire at your full retirement age, it currently takes 6-7 years to receive back the portion of SS that you paid in, this does not count employer contributions paid on your behalf.

According to what I've read, when Social Security began, average life expectancy was 63, and the age at which you could collect was 65, so on a relative basis, 6-7 years ain't a bad deal.

Here are the choices if we decide we would like to have our holiday dinner at the "121" (Oxford Airport0 Restaurant
Option 1:
Attached is a menu of appetizers for $20 per person; drinks are not included. Drinks can either be run on a tab or paid individually.
Option 2:
Attached is a $19.99 3 course pre-fixed dinner menu offered on week days. Drinks are not included in the price. Tax and gratuity are additional.
Option 3:
Order off the menu and pay regular price.
They have availability for us on Tuesday 12/18.
I assume that means we're paying for our own holiday dinner. I'm sure I'm cleaning my grout that night.
