On my way into work. Thinking of starting an FB page/community called grateful dent to encourage networking among music enthusiasts in the dental profession. Other thought for a name is go to health, since grateful med is already a thing. Think I'd be sued? If anything other than networking, it would be a nonprofit through which I can sell things to raise money to fund going on dental volunteer trips with remote area medical, mission of mercy and other local/grassroots organizations that offer dental care to those who can't afford it without discriminating on any basis (sexual orientation, nationality, color, flavor, etc.). 'Cause busting your ass to help people with mouth pain feel better costs money (travel, food, hotel). I knew I was onto something when I found something cooler than music festivals that has no music at all. RAM is that.

Me: I'm in finance but I never like to talk about it on Sundays when I'm having fun.
Stray wook: Man, I want to do what you do, it sounds so creative and satisfying, tell me more about it man.
Me: I really don't want to talk about work, let's talk music, what was your favorite band today?
Stray wook: Doood, what kind of work do you do?
Me: I euthanize kittens for an animal shelter, alright?

He picked up a stray freak dude who I tolerated for as long as I could before fleeing the scene.
Stray wook: What do you do for work man?

If I had a nickel for every time Eric befriended random people I'd prolly be rich. Endearing and annoying all at the same time. lol

I am still scathing pissed at witnessing a coworker steal from another. This girl (J) was waiting tables at my second loljob and totally swiped ten bucks that K dropped on the floor (in a spot where customers do not go). She has been suspected before for pulling this shit. I caught it out of the corner of my eye and I know she noticed because after picking up the ten spot she grabbed a piece of paper on the ground (trash) and walked right through the area with both in her fist (right by the trash can as well). K was asking everyone if they found it (this was not tip $, she was making change... as if that matters). She works her ass off and is one of the nicest people I have met in a while. K saw the $ in J's folder when she was running a charge card. There would be no business having $ from a customer at that point. WTF!
I asked K if she wanted me to say something to our manager P (awesome guy). She told me I didn't have to and refused the $ I tried to give her to replace it. I did speak up. P told me he'd take care of it and my account of what happened was all he needed to hear. Confronted J and told her he was the one that saw it (repeated what I said to him verbatim) and was giving her a chance to come clean. She did not and wound up throwing the $ at him. I think she's done. She pulled multiple crying fits during the night because she had less tables than us and her drawer was short the night prior by $50. P actually gave her $25 to help her out from his own cash and then she had the audacity to pull that shit?
I really dislike people sometimes. That combined with other debris flying around in my head has me saying F U to this day. Was supposed to go out with my friend for a bit but I'm completely antisocial. Told her I'd be better in time for tomorrow at Taco Night. Thankfully I have red wine and a nice steak to cook for dinner. Cooking combined with wine always seems to help.
I hate that I allow stuff to affect me so much at times. I get rather angry at myself when it does. WTF is wrong with people?
Okay, back to our regularly scheduled program. How is everyone else doing?

The most notable protest group is protesting the President's stance on medical MJ, because it's sooooooo hard to get/poke smot around here in SF and we are so persecuted by the feds.
Excuse me while I

Thanks, and of course my Mother has something she just has to come to see me about. She did the same thing the week of April 15.
Double oof! My mom likes to come in and hang out while I work, has a knack for picking the busiest times to do so. "I'll just watch and be quiet while you work." So, I feel your pain.
