Julius...who is this person that spoke of me? Ever so curious.
These are my final postings before heading to the airport.
I had to pinch myself yesterday. I was at a memorial for Peter Barsotti, one of the creative geniuses who produced so many BGP shows over the years (GD in Egypt, GD at Radio City, Garcia on Broadway, HORDE, Laguna Seca Daze, Mt. Aire...and on and on) and who passed away a couple of weeks ago. I was with so many old school BGP people and the stories that were going around just blew my mind. And there were lots and lots of reminders of why Bill and his crew did things the way he did which I will be bringing to our festival. Those of you who will be attending our Wed. night staff meeting will get to hear a good portion of these reminders.
And I get to share MC duties with Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Gravy through the weekend.
You have been warned.

OK, so i am going to have some posterboard hanging somewhere obvious at velcro
i will make it abundantly clear who its for
dont wanna post it here cuz i would love it to be a surprise!
suffice to say, someone who wishes she could be here, wont be, and i wanted to make her a "we missed you at vibes" card signed by as many boardizens as possible!
so if you are at velcro for the pig roast or just stopping by, PLEASE look for the sign and make your mark to send along your love
there will be a sharpie attached
as we know, the power of many boardies together is immeasurable

Give em a break.
Or try Tabbooma's method.
One freebie and then it's off to the corner.
Or be original and come up with some sort of new and exciting punishment that will really get the board buzzing.

Heard a new one yesterday. . . and it kind of made me bristle.
I was giving a ride to some folks to the Greek for SCI, one handicapped person in the front and one woman I had just met in back. . . the car was rather messy with HSMF stuff all over but not terrible by any means. . . she takes one look at the inside of my car and says "I can't do this, I am a princess."
So I bit my tongue, did not say "OK you can walk then, Princess!" and calmly convinced her it would all be OK. I was proud of myself.

Ok "posers". Got a few more goodies done today and am soaking fresh mint in blood orange liqueur in the freezer for the sangia
( Also have a fresh bag chilling esp. for you Karen
I stopped reading at the word blood at first and I was starting to wonder about you
