A little bit from yesterday, Ignore the derp in the middle of the second song.

Isn't the derp why we all love live music?
Hope the turnout was good!
For anyone who hasn't seen 'em, this is a fun band. Keyboard dude's more'n a little sketchy, but hey...

GRRRR! The boss is telling me to "choose" training classes in fucking Atlanta.
I wonder how much trouble I get in when I tell her I choose not to travel.
Start oinking, tell them you have the swine flu. The airlines won't let you on the plane, and co-worker's won't want you in the office, so you end up with paid time-off at home.

Depends on how you tell her. Prolly best way is to make it her choice - let her know that your not being sent for FT in FA = your not introducing her to Unbroken Chain...her choice.

I can't afford to go. Each trip I have to lay out $50 in baggage fees, and $100 in parking at HPN (or my wife has to drop me off and pick me up at the airport). I get it back after I submit an expense report, but in the meantime I'm out $150. I'll just tell my kids "Sorry, no lunch or dinner this week. The sewer company wanted Dad to travel."
Sorry...I didn't not mean any offense.

None taken. I'm just venting. Some key reminded me that companies don't spend money like this on dudes they're planning to whack.
Unless they're planning to whack you whack you, in which case, they prefer to do it out of town. Or least that was the preference back when I worked in corporate "accounting."
"Word just came down that it's time to move Golden 'off balance sheet.' Who do we know in fucking Atlanta?"

They have 'gators in Atlanta?
I see what you did there.
Dave, I got out of the "accounting" game because it was weighing too heavily on my conscience. TEO, on the other hand, has her own freelance "accounting" outfit. I would take any gestures of sympathy, concern or advice with a big grain of salt. The "accounting" world is a small community. For all I know, she may have been retained to do the job herself.
Has she recently suggested there's something in Vermont you might like to consider checking out? If so, be very wary. In fact, you might want to consider taking that trip to Hampton Beach and giving Vibes, and boardie camping in particular, a pass this year.
Watch your back, brother. You're swimming with sharks here.
