"Hello? I'm calling to report my neighbor, Clifford. He is hiding marijuana inside his firewood!"
"Thank you very much for the call, sir."
The next day, FBI agents descend on the neighbor's house. They search the shed where the firewood is kept. Using axes, they bust open every piece of wood, but find no marijuana. They swear at the neighbors and leave.
The phone rings at the neighbors house. Hey, Clifford, did the FBI come?"
"Yep."
"Did they chop your firewood?"
"Yep."
"Great, now it's your turn to call. I need my garden plowed."

I got all busy yesterday and didn't get to it. The phone rang at 10 min to 5:00 and they had an opening for next Wednesday. YES
Feels so good when long-term planning starts manifesting and the details start falling into place.

Did I mention that my Aries self was going to call to remind the house inspectors (engineers) that I was desirous of a sooner appt if one became available?

Or, more succinctly, I love it when a plan comes together.

do you ever find that it helps to do some things(in your control) that really need doing and you finish and everything(that you really have no control over) comes together at the right time?

Along those lines my attorney needed to come see me unexpectedly today. So while he was here I was able to get discuss closings and may now be able to close on both places this month.
Ya'll are most welcome to come on over or stop by this weekend and pack a box or two, lend moral support, etc..

That was 35 minutes I'll never get back. I got the feeling he wrote me off after the first question but went through with the whole thing. I met with the HR person first, who asked all the professional interviewer type questions. He'll give his write-ups to the hiring manager, who will make up a short list, and there will be a second round if I make the cut. This is more trouble than it's worth. How did the interview go?
I'd like to get a gig close to home. But just in case, are there any jobs in Southern, VT?Yeah, are you getting the gig close to home or packing up the family and moving to green living in VT?
When you asked the interviewer "What are my chances of getting a Hajimemashite > Glory > Haji at the Klein?", did you get a heddy response?
I didn't get to ask. After his reply to "Why the fuck do you have a Derek Jeter poster in your office?" I didn't want to ask any more questions.

One more time, what was the name of the thing that they first asked you? Change Control Document or something? J_____ just wanted to know going forward what that was.
I deleted my first response, which was "You want me to do homework for the candidates I'm competing against? LOL"
