I have read how to make hoops and I have bought the 160 psi and I have made 8 hoops so far. This is too much fun. My only problem is that the tube is black and when I wrap the electrical tape around it it makes the color look darker. I did spray paint one hoop white then wrap the tape around and that helped but it's a big pain. What do you recommend??

Multiple layers of tape! :)
My hoops usually have 2-3 "coats"

That ends up costing a lot!! LOL...

Any easier way or is layering of tape the best way?

I've stopped using Vinyl tape over a year ago. Duct tape is the best IMO. It doesn't gouge like the electrical and it's stronger and *not see through* and doesn't slide back and attract dirt.

A hoop made with Duct tape will last for years.

i like gaffer and decorative tapes myself so i get em online at http://www.identi-tape.com/ i usually use one strip of gaffer and one strip of metallic or glitter. i like blingy hoops! but best to use these type of tapes on grass or carpet...decorative tapes dont last quite as long but they sure look purdy!
