How many TV's do you have in your home?

I was talking with Co workers and all of them (5) have more than 5 TV's in their house. Kate's parents have 14 TV's. Growing up my mom never turned the TV off. She slept with the TV on.
I never had a TV in my room growing up so having only one TV seems normal to me. Kate thinks sitting in front of the TV for hours mindlessly is not good. Like if there is nothing on TV that neither of us want to watch, she hates sitting there flipping around.

4 computers
4 people
I spend most of my time online, but my computer is how I listen to music and is responsible for pretty much all of my multimedia and my book reading... I only watch a few hours of TV a day anymore, I don't really like watching TV it feels too passive...

the one in the girls' room isn't used often. on weekends, mack is allowed to stay up late and watch her shows and lily sleeps in our room. also, the living room is small and has lots of stuff and the girls have the master bedroom, so it only makes sense to have the wii in there.
i kinda want one in our room, but jay and i are polar opposites when it comes to tv noise and sleep. i love it, it drives him batshit crazy.

1 in the br, 1 in the family room, 1 in the basement - doesn't get used, 1 outside in the screen porch/mancave that rarely gets used
1 computer
Frank has internet on his phone
I hate leaving the tv on for noise - drives me nuts! My parents do that - I'm always turning their tvs off

PS. We do not have a TV in our Bedroom. We feel the Bedroom is for sex or sleeping.
same here. we have 2 tvs. one in the living room, and one in the guest room, which has never been used. we each had a tv when we combined households, so we put the second one in the room we use the least.
i had a tv in my bedroom once, a long time ago. got less sleep, less sex, and less motivated as the days went on. i removed it after a month or maybe two. never again

PS. We do not have a TV in our Bedroom. We feel the Bedroom is for sex or sleeping.
We feel TV would interfere with intamacy/sex.
.
Lots of people feel that way.
I have one in my family room and one in my bedroom, but the one in the bedroom rarely gets turned on.

Of course you can make it romantic.
But in general, if you go into the bedroom to watch TV before going to sleep the chance of sex lessens.
For us it works
It's one of my favorite parts of the day - during the week, just me and him watching the news after a long work day, discussing the events...
weekends movies, candles and wine (if we don't go out)
total relaxation mode

1 big HD set in the living room. I'd really like to get a smaller HD set for the man room so I can play video games while Randy watches TV. This way I can kill my friends, and she can watch strangers buy houses.
This, or for random sports that may conflict with strangers designing clothes.

I haven't had a TV since 1999. I don't really watch TV, tho. If there are shows I want to see, I just get them from friends or online and play them on the laptop with the projector.
I have been told that we are going to be getting a nice big flatscreen sometime soon tho, since one of us really enjoys watching live sports.

We have a projector shining on a 72' diagonal screen connected to laptops, iPads, whatever and played through my Denon receiver.
The screen hangs above our wood stove. It retracts and disappears. I watch the Daily Show and NCIS a day late, over the internet along with a whole lot of free content.
I have a usb that converts over the air HD broadcast tv, so we can watch pbs and the other networks around CNY. It is only on as tv for a few shows. I used to be pretty rainman about jeopardy...but I shook it.
I can't see paying a cable and internet bill for the additional content provided down the same piece of coax.
