I know how to do basic crochet, but I can't make anything fancy other than scarves, wash cloths, or anything else that isn't squareish. :lol:

I've always wanted to learn how to do other things, though, especially like the little animals! Very cool! :grin:

if you know a basic single crochet stitch making little stuffed toys is pretty easy since that's the only stitch used in most of them. all the counting can be a pain in the ass but it's avoidable with stitch markers. i made this little guy and i swear the hardest part was sewing his parts together

Aww, cute! I remember you posting that a while back. I saw a cute little monkey pattern that I wanted to try, but it confused the hell out of me. :funny1:

i'm happy to help if you send me the pattern. it can look really confusing but most are pretty easy to figure out. the japanese ones use charts now too where x = single crochet.
twilight d - i'd be happy to show you a basic chain and single crochet if you want
