Sitting by the woodstove...resting up for Joe Driscoll tonight. I'm getting too old for bands that don't start until after 10pm

Heading to Driscoll for his last US gig for a while. Europe will have him for a while. Tonight is a fundraiser to help DJ Afar and Hollywood to travel with him for a spell.
Turkey Chili and woodstove until then.

to go with an open-face pastured roast beef sandwich with sweet onion gravy on rye.
My first beer this weekend. I thought I was off to a slow start, but I guess I'm ahead of the west coast.
edit: oh wait, Joshie is on Vegas time.
Enjoy Lost Wages, brother.

Cold with some snow today...I sure wish it was as warm and sunny as last weekend.
The beer is double-hopped and 9.2% abv, so I'm warm on the inside.

same beer as two weeks ago...even from the same six-pack...at 9.2% abv they take a while to work through. I may be opening a second soon, that will do me for the evening...the fire is in the woodstove, just to get rid of the 40

No West Coast as I had planned last week. Got back from Boston yesterday. Hauled brush all day today. Opened one of these about 45 min ago.

Long week at work. First nice weather and teenage hormones on overload. 7 more weeks 'til I'm done for the year. I hope I can hold out.
Training at the ropes course tomorrow...work around the yard Sunday.
Enjoy your weekend.
