so, we've been feeding a neighborhood stray on our back porch. we call him "limpy" because he has a slight limp. we can talk to him through the window but if we go out, he leaves. if we leave him alone, he hangs out on the back porch with luna.

the last couple of days, at dinnertime, when i go to feed luna in our little pantry, she asks to go out the back door. since it's been really nice out, i've been feeding her on the back porch, since that's what she seems to want.

yesterday, out the window, i watched her take like 2 bites of food and then, when limpy showed up, she gave up her dinner to him. then they hung out together when he was done eating. she's been asking to be fed outside so that she makes sure he's being fed!

too sweet. i wished she liked our other cat, red, as much as she likes limpy

so yesterday morning she asked to be fed outside! i guess she wants him to have breakfast too

red has been with us for over a year. she is kind of, sort of beginning to tolerate him

so this morning, i walked out of the bedroom and the red cat was just sitting there, the back door was partially open (i leave it open at night so the cats can go in and out). then, something gray ran outside very fast. it was limpy! red must've invited him in



he must've been so scared when i came out of the bedroom but a minute later he was standing by his bowl on the back porch.
