Do you know what I mean? :funny1:

I'm trying to find some cheap paper lanterns..those big round hanging lights that give off a muted glow. I want something I can plug into an outlet as opposed to setting up some hard wiring. I saw some small ones on Target's website but I'd prefer all white/ivory. http://www.target.co...lanterns&page=1

I got that catalog in the mail yesterday at work. It told me to go online and look at things for weddings and showers. :funny1:

why not go for LED (battery-operated) ones? no wires needed at all, that way :) i use them for my campsite at festivals.

for starters, the 10" are $4.75 if purchased in lots of 24 or more: http://www.paperlant...om/noname1.html

ooh...eyelet cutouts! http://www.paperlant...hledroeypa.html

botanics! http://www.paperlant.../botpaplan.html

the prices seem good here, too:

do you have a chinatown in your area? Random stores in chinatown always seem to have those for really cheap...

We got some a few years ago at Old Navy (of all places!)...I don't think they were cheap, though. They were battery powered at least. Definitely check out the $1 zone bins at Target. They have lots of random things.

Do you have more of you because I'd like one! These are perfect!

As for the Chinatown thing, I'd have to go into Boston for that and I wouldn't know where to begin looking. :undecided:

I looked through Ikea's website initially but didn't see what I was looking for.

I will be very happy to order these online and have them delivered to my lazy ass! YAY!! :clapping:

definitely check out Oriental Trading too...i bet their prices will beat anyone else's, but you might not find the really pretty eyelet or botanical ones. plain white is really nice too though, if the price is way better.

I did check out Oriental Trading but they didn't have cordless LED lights! Those are perfectly convenient.

they really are! buy a few extra though because i noticed one of mine (i bought an 8 pack of brightly colored ones for StrangeCreek and future camping trips) had a short that caused it to die prematurely.

i bought mine at CVS though. so yours may be of a higher quality
