City Gardens was legendary.

I went a while after '89 but I saw the toasters, bad brains, bim ska la bim, all, gorilla biscuits, at one point or another...

the first time I heard the Jerky boys, before they were "known", when their tapes were just past around parking lots, I was in the lot for All, the dickies, and doughboys... I pretty much planned my life around my punk card.

Ahhh, I was in a hardcore/punk band in HS. My old bass player is now a member of Killswitch Engage, he really wanted and thought we all were going to not go to college and keep the band together. We played stuff like Shelter, Slapshot, Gorilla Biscuts, Minor Threat, GG Allen, Ramones and a bunch more I cannot remember right now... Those were the days. My friend I grew up with down the street played drums for Shelter, it was funny cause he was not really in it for the krishna movement. I still have a bunch of hardcore on my Ipod that helps me through my angry days!

Nice...Ray Cappo was always the driving force behind Krishnacore...it faded into obscurity pretty quickly.

What's on your iPod???

Ray was cool when I talked with him back in '91 I think it was at a club in Syracuse NY, I remember buying a Shelter clear 45ep and Tshirt that Ray signed for me!
Krishnacore had a great vibe.

I know... a hardcore fan with an Ipod! What a sellout!LOL
I have a bunch of stuff, keep going back to Minor Threat and Gorilla Biscuits. Great stuff. Agnostic Front on occasion. Only when the Dead just don't fit the mood!
