I love every Vibes I've been to. Each one I meet new and great people and experince great music so I'd have to say I don't have a favorite, but if I'd have to pick one it was Phil & Friends at ILOC July 4th with the fireworks

I agree with Pher. I've been to all Vibes from 1997-2006 (had to miss the last two years). Phil & Friends @ ILOC 7/4 was amazing. Nothing like thousands of us heads watching a firework show after a great performance by Phil.

2005 and 2008 were my fav. Mariaville is a nice spot . Could we go back there next year? I used to be able to bring my beer to the concert field !

'05 rocked.
Just cant beat the lineup, plus the Jerry tribute...By the end of the night I couldnt even stand, due to dancing for soo long.

Dont get me wrong though, Vibes every yr is def worth it.

2002 with 2 nights of the PLQ (the whole lineup was sick) in upstate NY on a beautiful summer weekend with no rain was pure bliss and by far the best vibes so far in history. 2005 with the ratdog (TEQUILA!!!!) and the tribute with DSO & friends was just as good. would have been equal if bob stuck around to play in some of that tribute.
seaside in 07' was fun and had a nice lineup but seaside park is kinda stinky at low tide and the blood suckin flies get annoying aget a while.
08'....not that great. good lineup for sat but the rest was a bit of a letdown for me.
i think for some one of the biggest letdowns was adding the black crowes over 2 nights of phil. i for 1 would have.
seems like the overall rating has dropped every year goin up in 05 and droppin only comin up slightly in 08 prob only because there are a lot of first timers since the venue change. no matter the lineup you are still going to have a good time at the vibes, but a good lineup helps make it that much better

2007 was my favorite because that's when I met Spidergawd.

2008 I laughed the hardest and bonded for life with my Toronto family (Andrew, Jeffy, Lola, Ryan, Joel)

Only my second Vibes...but holy shit...Bobby was freakin amazing! I was so blown away...just seeing that was worth every penny we paid for VIP passes. AOD was pretty effing incredible too!

I have only been to 2 vibes '08 and '09...holy shit Bobby was so amazing...I was blown away. Just seeing him was worth every penny paid for VIP passes. AOD was effing incredible....the were far better than last year. So I guess my vote would be '09.

I went from 97-2007 & 98 in Plattsburgh was by far my fav, followed closely by 2003 (I think, the year it almost didn't happen & was on the camp creek stage b/c it was small)

only bummer was my bike got borrowed from inside VIP tent. if anyone has seen it; lavender GIANT bike.
Over all I had a beautiful time and everything went smoothly. I need to bring a sitter for my 6 year old next year. Thanks to all the loving and responsible parents that helped in small and big ways.
I feel a little down to be back home, I miss everyone and the scene already but I will carry the Vibe back out into the rest of the world.
I discovered the public sandy beach with life guards at West Beach Campground for the first time in 4 years. I love PT Barnum! I love you Vibes Family! See you next year.
