especially some of the younger ones seem to feel they are entitled to smoke wherever they want to.
I have more of a problem with this issue lately than the smoking itself. I used to smoke upwards of three packs a day before I quit 8 years ago, so I know just how strong that "jones" is for a cigarette. Hell, to this day I still get small cravings every so often and smoke a lot in my dreams.
Anyway, I've been finding myself getting more and more frustrated with this sense of entitlement I'm seeing from many younger Americans (and Americans in general) lately. It seems to me that my generation (i.e. those in their early to mid 30s) was much more respectful and courteous when we were in our late teens and early 20s than those in their late teens and early 20s today (albeit relatively...I'm sure we were still disrespectful and discourteous to some extent).
Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but it seems to me that more and more people only care about themselves these days and lack a general respect and courtesy to those around them. It
