I've never done a glaze before (or a ham for that matter). I'm buying a spiral ham so it's just a heat up job. However, I think the glaze will make a difference.
Any ideas for a good one? I found a recipe for a dijon maple glaze that looks good but I'd love to hear of any others that any of you might recommend!
If it helps I am making the following with the ham:
roasted garlic mashed potatoes
glazed carrots
roasted aparagus
saffron rice or rice pilaf
Best glaze for spiral ham?

Don't those hams usually come with a packet of powder that you make the glaze with?
I want to make something from scratch...
Google "Maple Syrup Ham glaze"... there are a bunch
We sometime just use Maple Syrup by itself
Can't go wrong with maple syrup! I think I'll go with a maple syrup/dijon type glaze...
