I have a DR-2d that I want to record my band with in dual input mode. Is it better to run longer cables from the SBD to the unit with shorter mic cables (SP AT853's without a pre amp) or the reverse - shorter SBD lines and longer mic lines. Longer mic lines allow me to monitor the recording levels at my drum set.
