DUMMERSTON -- The day Tim Forrett had dreamed about since he was 12 years old quickly turned into a nightmare.

Last year Forrett and a friend came upon a massive 177 pound buck with eight points on its antlers. That entire season the two of them tried to track the animal without success.

On Thursday, 28-year-old Forrett took the day off work and got up early with a light snowfall to go hunting in Marlboro.

For four and a half hours there was nothing, not even a single track to follow, but as he crested a hillside deep in the forest, there it was, about 40 yards away, the deer he and his friend had been hunting since last year.

I'm cynical/jaded enough that I wouldn't leave venison hanging in plain sight. Feel bad for the guy though. :sad:

Forrett hung it in his yard to start the four day process of draining its blood.

that's clearly a twelve-point buck. a delicious, medicinal, tons-of-herbs-and-roots-and-alcohol buck.

as for the main event, i say the thief should be shot in the neck, then hung in his yard to start the four day process of draining his blood.

played this in 9th grade in the school cafeteria...we had a power drill to hold up to the mic for sound effects.

Sweet, I extended my stay in NOLA one year after Jazz Fest to catch Ministry at the House of Blues.
They made them keep the loudness factor within 130 decibels. :crazy:
