hey an ACD is a far better option than a GLT!!

be first in line. wear a nice shirt and tie.

ACD Good.
Full Dismissal Better.
Guilty Bad.

i have, in other circumstances, given that exact directive as legal advice. it never ceases to amaze me what some people will say, when their best choice is silence. :pimp:

he's not violent or even pushy in the least. that said, i don't know the back story and that could change my opinion, but i doubt it when the offer is to table the matter for 6 months and then dismiss it without an appearance.

so you'd be willing to drop say 5-10k on a trial, not knowing the outcome, rather than wait and have the charges dismissed in six months?

no, i am hoping he can convince the DA to drop the charges. if he cant then...his advice is the same as yours.

pushing someone is fairly minor; however did they: go thru a plate glass window as a result? injuries may be the deciding factor.
unless you have a history of violence there is no reason for them to pursue this.

pushing someone is in no way 'minor' IMO (unless you're a small child who hasn't yet learned to keep your hands to yourself) but i believe you when you say you are innocent of the crime you've been charged with. hopefully the DA will agree and dismiss this entirely.

Well, regarding criminal charges and degrees and possible sentences, it's pretty fucking minor, and without the circumstances known, could be very damn well justified in the real world that does not consist of faeries and glitterdust.
