The first amendment is designed to protect citizens freedom of speech from the government. It is not designed to protect speech among other citizens, who are free to discriminate against whomever they like in terms of who they choose to listen to.

It is not, for example, an infringement of the freedom of speech if someone were to begin talking in a group, only to be shouted down by others in the group. Some might say, 'well they are not allowing them to speak! It's an infringement of their rights!' and that is absolutely incorrect. You see, the people shouting the person down are also exercising their freedom of speech.
