About a week. Ginger is one year old, so she's still very active. They wrestle and chase each other all the time.

Poor Mittens. He has a perfectly good, descriptive name, but everyone in the house calls him Meep.

She's here! She's all black and her name is Boo. SO sweet, snuggly and chatty :)

Our cat Sage seems fine with her being here. SHe went up to the carrier, sniffed it, sniffed the cats paw and moved on. Sage is super gentle :heart:

So far Boo has explored 1/2 the house, then hid under the bed for an hour or so... I just coaxed her out for a while and gave her lots of pets and snuggles. She is clearly a super snuggler because I was on the floor and she plopped down and curled up next to me :heart:

She's back under the bed for now.....I think she needs some time to adjust.

Sage is a mellow cat. Boo won't come out for a couple of days, then she'll find a favorite window.

First signs are of an easy integration. Yay!

Boo is a jet-black beauty, 8 months old and just full of affection. I think this is going to work out great! :heart:

We had our own. For 22 years, until last August (RIP BooBoo Kitty). She looked just like Shirley's, but not stuffed. :funny1:

I did find it a bit strange at first getting a kitty named Boo, but it's a good name and a nice tribute to my beloved BooBoo.

PS: We'll take and post some #1s soon, as soon as she gets a bit more comfortable in the house and starts coming out more.

Mittens is going in for a snip-snip today. :sad:

They found he has a tapeworm, so he's getting a shot along with the other indignity. I wonder if they'll send him home wearing a satellite dish.

I saw the cats chase him across the floor and down to the basement a day or so before this picture was taken. Mittens carried him back up from the basement and proceeded to terrorize him in the kitchen. I finally intervened. Either eat him or let him go. Don't play with your food.
