I'd Love for Vibes to Expand Late Night

Also Vibes is the biggest festival that I've been to that has so little going on latenight. I'd love to have a couple more local bands play latenight instead of when bands that everyone wants to see are on the main stage. I think local bands would be psyched to do it too, as they might get more people that still want to party.

i believe things should be digitized latenight but not SKRILLEX
yup
Lotus
beats antique
papadosio
dopapod
future rock
All good choices that wouldn't be considered obnoxious by fans that are not as used to that type of music
I am predicting now that beats antique will be one of the Vibes latenights:pimp:

Gregoire I wasnt rude to you.. first and foremost I am a Deadhead, but really none of this is your business. I think it was really offensive for you to say you hope Skrillex dies in a fire, and you need to realize there are other people in the world. People that like, say, are open to new things? People that GOD FORBID Love Dubstep AND the Grateful Dead... oh and by the way THIS IS A GRATEFUL DEAD FESTIVAL! Why you all about the murder and sending people elsewhere? Peace and Love, Friend!

From my perspective, you're wrong. A benchmark for me for whether music is "good" or not is whether I can enjoy it without being mind-altered. Listening to that, I can't grasp how anyone could enjoy it without having a headfull. And even then, for me, I think it would be kinda unnerving.
But that's just the opinion of one middle-age guy. Music is very subjective.
As far as Gregoir goes, he's a standup guy, just maybe a little sarcastic is all.
I bet that if you hang out, observe, and get the lay of the land, that you'll end up seeing this.

Yup. That kind of humor is just par for the course around here. Don't take offense.

Ahem. Someone might want to think about spending a little less time agreeing with me on festival message boards, and a little more looking for a supplemental part-time gig to pay for getting to Greenfield.
Not like retail ever killed anyone. Directly, at least.
I think I saw something in P&R that suggested that WalMart treats its people pretty well.

So I get it... You guys dont like Skrillex... How about Glitch Mob?
That would rule.
I have no opinion on them honestly I like lots of electronic music but usually played by instruments. Hence why they should let Normal Instruments rage that shit. DJ's I like are too obscure for vibes. Chris Joss, Ursula 1000, hell even OL but vibes would never have any of those
