He's been falling asleep way too early, like at 7 pm. The problem is he is waking up at 4 am and thinking it's time to rage!! won't go back to bed, refuses to! and then only took a 20 minute nap. wasn't until 2 pm that he finally went down for a 2 hour nap

Right now I'm trying to keep him up with a teething biscuit. He loves them and can just chew for hours. If it wasn't for that, I think he'd be cold out

mag WAS a down at 730 up at 530-6 child
now she's a 9 down and 7-8 up.

it gets better. ha.

maybe just push back the time of everything you do by small increments to gain the time... last meal, story, bath push everything back 15m... then you get 415... ha....

then in two weeks...15more.... to 730.... and there you are... the delicious 430 a/m haha

:) enjoy this time <3 i SO miss my 8 month old... now at 9 pm i get, "but im a big girl... i want to watch a movie... im not tired... my head thinks i should stay up...":carla::lol:

Lily at 2 years goes to bed at 8 convinces Daddy to snuggle until 8:30 then wakes up between 6:30 and 7:30. You can try giving him a nap earlier especially if he is waking up so early. Sleep begets sleep. I know it's hard but put him in the crib and let him cry for 20 minutes...that should tire him out and he will realize screaming isn't going to save him from taking a nap.

I have no advice--Jude was all over the place sleep-wise and didn't sleep through the night until he was 2 1/2 :funny1:

Now, he usually falls asleep by 10 and I have to wake him up for school at 8am:smile:

I agree w/ trying to move everything in 15 minute increments. Good luck! As soon as you get it figured out, he'll grow
& it will change again <3

my 16 year old takes forever to go to bed and forever to wake up.

Sleep is always some kind of issue as a parent until you're..... dead?! :funny1:

Wait, that isn't very encouraging is it? :funny1:

what is sleep?

Ana didn't have much trouble adjusting to the seasons, but then again she hardly sleeps through the night anyway.

She's got a cold this week and she's congested as all hell. somehow or another the addition of the Vic's DRY vaporizer with the cold mist humidifier did it this time. When she woke last night she was able to get her self back to sleep without much struggling.

I will never complain about this baby. My 8 month old has been sleeping through the night for months. Last night, she slept for 13 hours with a nursing at 5am in her rocking chair.

And College? What's that? :funny1:
