Has anyone else done it?

I've used Silica gel a few times to dry significant roses. I still have em' in this sacred box my sister & I made up.

I'm going to pick up a container & use this method again, but I still wanted to know if anyone knew of any other or better methods than the gel & freeze drying flowers.
I believe those are the only methods I've heard of.

I'd like to dry & preserve a lot of different types of flowers to add to all different kinds of crafty projects.

yep. just hang them upside down.

for cute lil flowers you want flat press them in a book(cover pages with wax paper)
that way they blossom will stay open.

I'm thinking like forget me nots, pansy, johnny jump ups

Oh crap, I didn't even see there were responses here.

Anytime I hung them upside down to dry them, it seemed as if they would become flakey dry & break apart really easily?
But I will give the method a go again. =)

I'm gonna try flattening them too, Erin.

Ah, I just got an idea - Pressing flowers like Gerbera Daisies 4 things like scrap books, photo albums & pretty lil storage & gift boxes.

What do you think the best way to seal a pressed flower would be?
