really enjoyed this read took me a long time to digest it
it basically proves that in general, as entire civilizations, we develop and thrive (or fail to do so) according to the hand we are dealt (our geographic location, and the resources it provides), and our success or failure to thrive has very little to do with intelligence or motivation.

It is a really interesting way of seeing things, I think. Some of it really hits home, while other parts left me in contemplation. Overall, i think it is an interesting piece and really defines the idea of why we as humans have yet to truly claim what we really are by taking the responsibilities and risks of self ownership.

Problem with I Am for the "Club," is that I don't think it's available free anywhere. I do highly suggest watching it on your own time though.
Since TASB has made a suggestion, assuming it's available online at no charge, I'm gonna suggest that we do the order this way:
1. TASB
2. Jabadoodle
3. TEO
4. china cat
5. Hoagie
6. TtB
Hoagie, you want in? We could put you at 5 and move me down to 6.
We can add anyone else who'd like to play as well.
I'ma suggest that unless there's an objection to the order by day's end, that TASB start a thread called something like, "Boardie Documentary Club Year Two Discussion #1: XXXXXXXXX." "XXXXXXXXX" being the film title, with a link to the film in the thread.
New films go up on Mondays, seems to work well.

I am thinking of ""Why in the World are They Spraying?" As I am interested, has anyone already seen it?
People around the world are noticing that our planet's weather is dramatically changing. They are also beginning to notice the long lingering trails left behind airplanes that have lead millions to accept the reality of chemtrail/geoengineering programs. Could there be a connection between the trails and our severe weather? While there are many agendas associated with these damaging programs, evidence is now abundant which proves that geoengineering can be used to control weather. In this documentary you will learn how the aerosols being sprayed into our sky are used in conjunction with other technologies to control our weather. While geoengineers maintain that their models are only for the mitigation of global warming, it is now clear that they can be used as a way to consolidate an enormous amount of both monetary and political power into the hands of a few by the leverage that weather control gives certain corporations over the Earth's natural systems. This of course, is being done at the expense of every living thing on the planet. Directed/Produced by Michael J. Murphy and Produced/Edited by Barry Kolsky.. Written by Michael J. Murphy and Barry Kolsky.

Heya kids
I still need to watch Dave's power of nightmares. Since Jab and Teo are too busy to post (then prolly too busy to watch as well), maybe skip a week?
Start back up with Jab, Sunday the 17th?
I can post one but it'll be one that Tim and I have already seen, so only Dave and Hoag watching?

In December, 2000 at the request of Professor David Andrus of USC's School of International Relations, Michael C. Ruppert gave a lecture on economics that rocked the foundations of about 70 upper classmen. There is the economics that is taught in most college curricula and then there is the real economics; fully documented, incontrovertible, and shocking.
One seems like an impossible to understand, overcomplicated science, and the other is so simple, once you see it, that it will change your life. All these years later, Mike, after giving more than 50 lectures in nine countries still calls "Wall Street's War for Drug Money" the place to start learning about what really drives the world and why death is more profitable than life under the economic paradigm requiring infinite growth.
Whether you want to understand more about two areas where Mike has become world famous- 9/11 and Peak Oil- or you just want a better understanding of how money works, "Wall Street's War for Drug Money" is not just the place to start. Without it you won't really understand all of the pioneering research that FTW has produced since.
