Dear Boardies, wow, it's hard to believe that 2011 is quickly coming to a close & 2012 is just around the corner - "where does the time go?" I hope you all had a fab Thanksgiving, chillin' with friends, family & hopefully seeing some live music to inspire the soul. We've submitted some exciting headlining offers to band booking agents - so the next month is a somewhat stressful waiting game. What bands are gonna tour? "You want how much to perform?!?!?! Ok, let's split it down the middle" - you guys know the deal!

What bands do u guys REALLY want to see @ Vibes 2012? As Dr. Frasier Crane would say "I'm listening"...

Much love to you all, stay warm over the winter months & as soon as we're able to announce bands, we will.

is that so? J5 brings an awesome crowd, no stabbings. And Beasties? CLASSIC. People are too busy getting down at RJD2 to play with knives. Only thing getting sliced and diced by Mos Def is verse after verse

a lot of peole get stabbed at rap/hip-hop concerts.

A lot of people get stabbed whilst doing lots of things... I have personally gone to several Hip Hop shows including ones that were major headliners at festivals and never once got stabbed nor did anyone else. I feel that this line of thinking is counterproductive if one wants a well rounded fest experience. I'm also not saying go out and find the heaviest angriest hip hop artists that you can because the chance of some sort of violence goes way up, but to say all hip hop is dangerous is just misinformed.....

That being said bring on the Mos Def, The Roots, The Pharcyde, Lootpack, MF DOOM, and A Tribe Called Quest.........
