I never seem to find you guys whenever we are at Vibes.
Guess I'm too drunk to walk and look.Word has it I was right by you last year at one point. Hmph!
yup, you guys were on the field on the portoclusterfuck side and we found where you used to be right after you left:rolleyes:
to find camp velcro, just walk away from the stage, by the vendors towards the teen tent then through the gate and then straight through the campsites as the crow flies and in about 5 or 6 tents, start yelling "VELCRO! WHERE ARE YOU!"

i would like to donate to the cooler this year.. my question is . . would it be a waste to use the Sailor Jerry rum or just stick to the capt. Morgans?

Hmmm, was it 03 Steve?
When did Lise buy the giant bag of Portobella mushrooms.
This is my 10th year too and Cur's.
You know me and numbers
I think she referred to them as Shitake's and it may have been '02. Made for a good story the following year.
Speaking of '02, Lise and I both met Elder that year as his camp was right next to Lise's.
10 years ... My first was '99. I missed 2000 and haven't missed one since

I still have the turtle and since this is 10 years with no missed ones i think he may make an apperence this year.
As far as my meat.....Well as evidenced by the picture.....
It's Smoking baby!!
Steve....not sure why i even feel the need to question you with numbers.
You are right as always.
I guess it took a few years but camp velcro definately came together nicely. If i wasnt camped next to you i always found myself next to Mel and Chris.
Except the one year i went with my buddies and camped next to the Stones fan and listened to The whole Rolling Stones discography in 12 hours over night one night and had the nitrous guys open up shop next to me the next night.
The ILLC bikers took care of them.
I think they called it P.E. (physical education.
Yup.....Camp Velcro Rocks!!!

i don't know how you missed them the sign they made is HUGE
you forgot the
it wasnt meant to be a "here we are" sign, merely my doodling while eating bacon and drinking coffee and well, um, yeah...
i think the terrapin floatie is gonna be there this year, that should be easy to find - it really IS huge!
(see pic earlier in thread of tony blowing it:devil: )

I always go find Dee at Vibes, being my very first boardie family I wouldn't have it any other way. I remember showing up there, after dark, vibes 07, w/ Kellie and Jess, and we had our beers, but Tony insisted on sharing the jug o love and knew the girl in the floppy hat!
...and so it goes...and so it happened...year after year Velcro is a must stop in multiple times a day, a vibes tradition for me.
Last summer, oh man, it was like way late night sketch at velcro, w/ protective eye wear and lots of juice, and beer and love and giggles.
I love you guys like WOAH!!!

And "tron sticks" and picking you guys up off the ground a few times.....
![]()
And a good time was had by all.
Andrew played drums on my shoulders all night w/ his TRONsticks
it actually felt awesome
I remember the 3 of us collapsing in hysterics like 15 feet from you guys, it felt like we walked half a mile away, I looked up, there were some velcroians giggling in sympathy

that's good, because i'm old too and if i'm going to stop by i don't want to feel out of place
There may have been more, but the only person I've seen out of place there is the security dude who wouldn't let me park my car in the camp until Tony talked him down and he finally let me squeeze it (the car
We kissed and made up and all was well.
