Wow.

I am radiating heat like a furnace with these things. Last night was wicked and this morning I thought I had a break but they are back with a vengeance.

Sing it with me "I enjoy being a girl"

We are women hear us roar!

Nothing like waking up in a pool of sweat.

night sweats are the worst...waking up with the sweat running down your legs, your shirt totally soaked through.

There are herbs for this. See your local licensed acupuncturist who has training in herbs. Www.acufinder.com

i've been taking a maca hormone therapy formula (maca is a peruvian root that is a "food" herb so it's very safe) for the past 5 years or so and haven't had hardly any symptoms. and i'm 53 this year. so... i'm going to say it's working

I asked my gyn at my appt the other day how long I could expect these to go on (my surgery was 10 years ago!) and she said b/c I went through surgical menopause it could be another 20 to 30 years. oh joy. :bang:

I do take a very low dose of estrogen to keep osteoporosis at bay...but we have to be careful b/c breast cancer runs in my family. I have tried herbs and they didn't help. I have a weird metabolism.

 :clapping:

My co-worker had very few hot flashes (zero herbs or meds) as she sailed right through menopause.
