The paper shredder guy just came in and said Dewey Square is now cordioned off by barricades.... seems like the occupyboston folks got a touch overzealous with their real estate claims.

My understanding is they were asked to stay off the Greenway, but could have stayed in Dewey Square. They fought the law and the law won.

That's what I'm getting too. But also that maybe the police
used more force ("beatdowns") than necessary. But that's
hard to know without knowing how the protesters behavior.

Not much of an "attack" and it looks like folks were warned.
