I would say probably something like soup cause after no food your tummy is not going to be happy with a load of fat and oil and grease dumped into it.... pasta or rice sound ok too

Seeing you mentioned Dr.........:funny1:

Been doing this gig since I was in my early 30's. From experience I have to agree with soup. Made the mistake of eating a sub once and the cramps were almost as bad as a scope with no sedative. (been there and had that done too)

i appreciate your concern for my tummy, but it does what i tell it to do.
nothing has ever been an issue for me unless i get the motion sickness

I'd prolly go with pizza. It's always the thing IU crave when I'm away from NY for a while.. so if i were away from food in general I'm sure it would be my crave.

In your next of the woods, it would be Goodfellas. I love me the Smoked Goodfella, but I'd prolly go with a Margherita

I'd say juice or a clear broth for the first day and then add fresh fruits, veg and some rice the subsequent day... Steak after a fast makes me tummy hurt just to think about it!!!

Then, when I felt ready I'd have the paella or sushi if choosing from your list. :)

i'd go with a light soup, too. the other foods you mentioned, while delicious on any other day, actually sound terrible to me as a way to break a fast

good luck today :)

After a night of the magic salty cherry water, you probably want something that won't burn on the way out.

I don't remember what I had when I came home. I think I took a nap because I didn't get a lot of sleep the night before.

I prolly ate whatever I could get my hands on. You will be hungry.

I would start by gently waking up my stomach with some fresh fruit, mix of melons, pineapple, etc. Then build up course-by-course and see it as a multi-course experience instead of just stuffing your face with something. Clam chowder or lobster bisque 2nd course, quiche 3rd course, then go for some meat or fish with veggies and starch. Finish with chocolate mouse and whipped cream.

I did this for a colonoscopy and as soon as it was over i went up the street to a good local diner and had a HUGE breakfast.

It was still early am though.

3 eggs, home fries, bacon, 3 french toast, ham steak, coffee, oj and 2 pork sausage.

I would go with paella or sushi.:rose:

I would start with vegetable broth then soygurt to replace bacterias that were lost, next fruit. End with rice. Then normal diet.

they gave me a pack of fake orios and apple juice before they let me leave.
i had to change plans for the ride home, and didn't feel like cooking

so i had a buffalo bacon cheese burger, medium w/ waffle fries. (beef burger, Franks hot sauce, bacon, blue cheese)
no ill effects.

all clear on the test as well. :clapping:

probably a cup of tea, then spagetti and meatballs, salad and a canoli with coffee. keep a newspaper handy for the attack of the innards to come. No sense worrying about it. just be prepared. LOL
