our meeting was supposed to be in an indie book store and had to be moved because it only holds about 40 people and 240 are confirmed to be coming
so it had to be last minute moved to a church about 8 blocks away from the original spot
and now since it's last minute and bc a lot of people are still gonna go to the bookstore we're going to meet there and march to the church haha
a march to plan for a march:funny1:

the first # i would recommend you have is that of an attorney. you will not be able to call someone out of the area without it being collect, and you will not be able to collect call a cell. so if you would like a list of phone #s of attys that are LOCAL that WILL help you I will give them to you. They are friends of mine. They support you. They will be available. 2. Before you make the phone call ask the officer what precinct you are, who the contact person should be, and their telephone #.... if they do not give this to you, tell the lawyer when you call them.

it was pretty awesome to see 200 people at a simple meeting for something that hasn't even happened yet...we marched from the wooden shoe to a church at broad and arch and even had a cop car escorting us by blocking every street we crossed to let us pass...whole bunch of people walking by or popping their heads out of their houses with supportive comments...the attorney's guild showed up to discuss legal cans and cannots with us, pointing out which places were state property and which were federal and how in philadelphia it's much safer to occupy state owned than federal considering that philadelphia is much more liberal than the rest of the state and in a federal courtroom juries are much more conservative and unsypathetic to the cause...the location will be determined tuesday but it looks like love park will be the spot, prolly
really dug the GA...a lot of good (and bad) suggestions were made and the show of hand gestures method worked really well...i'd say it's likely that occupy philly will start either thursday or friday...i hope it's at love park cause it's only a block from my work...i'm going to offer a spot to shower and do laundry at my apartment and find everything i've been wanting to get rid of and donate it...least i can do
shut it down.
