For the first time in the history of the 97-year-old ballpark, Fenway Park will open its gates to Boston children and families for free ice skating on two Sundays in January, Mayor Thomas M. Menino, the National Hockey League, the Boston Bruins, and Sun Life Financial Inc. said yesterday.
City residents will be able to skate for free on a rink constructed on the baseball field on Jan. 3 and 10, as part of Boston’s New Year’s celebrations, Bruins legend Ray Bourque said at a press conference yesterday.
The rink is being built on the ballpark’s surface to host the NHL’s Winter Classic game on New Year’s Day where the Bruins are expected to face off against the Philadelphia Flyers before more than 38,000 fans.
The city of Boston, in partnership with Sun Life, will give out more than 3,000 tickets to the free skate on a first-come, first-serve basis on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at more than a dozen community centers throughout the city, including the Charlestown Community Center, Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, and Vine Street Community Center in Roxbury.
Boston residents must bring proof of their residency. A maximum of four tickets will be distributed to each family.
“The Bruins’ continued success has revived Boston’s hockey heart, and skating on the rink at historic Fenway Park is going to be a fantastic way for thousands of kids and families to ring in the New Year,’’ Menino said in a statement.
Tickets will indicate the date and time families will be allowed to skate. Families must bring their own ice skates.

how do you get a job like that?
Isn't a "job" per se.... you go, you pay.... they send you a check for a "set" amount.
many of these dealies are scamtastic.... these folks are "real"... I've been paid every time... but it takes about 2 months.
they were just saying they had a bunch of Banks in new hampshire for people to check out.... no expenditure, just go and check out the bank or some shit and they send you some dough.

again, not so much a job as a goofy thing to do for some free (or greatly discounted) grub~!

Momma...Go For IT!!!
I am sure if you are in shape, and can handle the runnning part, they might be able to look over the couple of years. It is an "age-range" after all.
