Me maybe U-Melt.
First I've heard of RMB on 12/5.
We do Yonder Mountain on 10/16.
Hope to make it to B-Ren's party!
Gov't Mule at Hampton Beach on 10/30.
Maybe Monsters of Folk on 11/3, subdudes on 11/6 and Susan Tedeschi on 11/7

I know not everyone's a huge Creek fan... but the Sunday's at Hyland are:
1. FREE
2. a Very Cool venue, fun for ALL Ages.
3. Apple Picking / Wagon Rides / Mini "Aminal" farm
4. Great Hyland Brewery Ales, and they sell wine also.
5. Coolers Welcome
6. Scott Murawski and Mark Mercier Duo live from around 1 to around 5 under the Pavillion.
October 17th, Hyland Orchards and Brewery, Sturbridge, MA

in-laws are visiting the weekend of October 16-17th. AND, the upstairs neighbors are also throwing their famous annual Harvest party on that Sunday... So I don't think we'll make it out west

Are you sure on that Entrain data??? It's not on their website.
Interesting side note...Sam sat in with a "fill-in band" at a club in New Bedford on Tuesday (Bullpen). It was him and Dan Swartz on a percussion kit with a bunch of other assorted shakers & such. Sam also brought his djembe. The band also had a 3-pc horn section, and I thought Sam would play a couple of songs on the Trombone, but it was a valve-trombone, and not a slide.
The 9 pc band included the 2 percussionists, 2 guitars, bass, drum kit, and 3-pc horn (Alto sax, trumpet, and valve-trombone). They were filling in for a Dead cover band (Pearly Baker) whose guitarist is in Greece for a few weeks. They did a handful of Dead tunes. It was the first time I ever heard Friend of the Devil, Shakedown Street, and a couple of others with a complete horn section!!! REALLY good stuff!!!
At one point, the horns walked off, followed by the guitars, and finally the bass. That left the drum kit, two percussionists (one on the congas and Sam on the djembe), and one of the guitarists grabbed a cowbell. They proceeded to do a straight percussion thing for about 10-15 minutes. Again...WAY COOL!!!

You going to see Creek or Entrain? I think I'll leave it up to Jerry to decided.
I will likely attend the Hyland Orchard show... But hell even that is up in da air... ( I've been beckoned to CT for emergeny computer repair that weekend - but will likely bail early Sunday and hit up the Orchard... )

Cool, like I said, I'll proabably let the kids decide which to go to, but I'd prefer Creek...if you can make it we should carpool.

coolie... there is a Pavillion which the band plays under too... but its got a ton of picnic tables... kinda crowdy feeling... its best when you can lay out a spread in the grass with a picmic basket...

Anyone going to see Rustic Overtones at the Paradise this Saturday??? I am on the fence...there is a good local band playing that night as well that I was planning on going to see until I heard about this show. Decisions:undecided:
