We don’t want to sound bitter or nothing, but gee, it sure would have been nice to have been a child prodigy. Now, don’t get us wrong, we were plenty good at plenty of things back when we were twelve—for the record, we will fuck your shit up in tether-ball—but were good at the sort of things you’re supposed to be good at twelve. Not like, say, calculus. Or thoracic surgery. Or bluegrass mandolin, which would be Sierra Hull’s area of expertise, and the thing that got her touring when she was barely double-digits. Now, this wundercutie is at Berklee, and courtesy of them, will be mandolin-in’ gratis at Kendall.
