i have to admit, that due to being raised in a very sheltered style, i never knew lou reed
until the early 90s, when i discovered him vicariously through an REM cover on Dead Letter Office, my favorite REM album :Phishfolk:


i know, micheal stipe with hair - its an old version :dunno:

i fell in love with this song
the tune
the lyrics
and then, in turn, discovered the genius of lou reed

so yeah, he would be cool :cool:
