The Smurfs Movie! - We loved it.

Hi,

I took Sol (4) to see it last week. We both loved it from the start through the end. It had a coolness factor to it. New York City was a main character, and it was done right and to so much fun. Graphics looked great and it was just all around a big smile. It moved at a perfect pace, exciting but never overwhelming, and felt like it was over in a half-hour.

All week I can't stop thinking about how much I enjoyed this movie! Sol too clapped and "awww'd" at the end and didn't want to leave the theater.

mag and i went and we both loved it too! a very sweet movie and done right. I think gargamel was done exceptionally well.... such a fun movie and short enough to not cause chaos :lol:

I went with two of my friends since we all used to looooooove The Smurfs when we were kids... It was a fun film! Hank Azaria as Gargamel made the whole thing - he was so funny in that role! :lol:

great that Solie had such a great attention span. We took Benji to see it at a Drive in and he was too busy climbing around the car to see the movie LOL
He ended up sleeping through the last half hour:rose::heart:

I'm sure if we were in a car at a drive-in, the movie would be one of the last things Sollie'd be into, too. Some things are the same all over.

Took the 4y.o.
My favorite line was "I don't miss passive aggressive smurf".
