That video is funny as hell.
Jump off a cliff...2 quid....cant beat it.....winds thru your hair.....beautiful panorama of the sea, waves crashing on the rocks beneath you, boats in the harbor to the east and to the west the expansive atlantic, waves as high as hills, the possibility of venturing to other lands. 2 quid.

On the other hand at least there is a way to make such a choice for oneself without causing harm to others.
May no one here ever feel so overcome with pain and suffering as to choose to end this life.

Open your eyes and take a look around at what is going on in the world.....suffering, starvation, violence, hardship.
It's a wonder there isnt a line ontop of that cliff.
she made a choice, for me it was the wrong one maybe she should have continued to try and deal with her problems maybe for her it was the right one.
whatever.
I joke because it's the only way i can cope with the daily sorrow my eyes see.

Jumping off a cliff is kind of like a hot chocolate.
It's fun but you really only need to do it once.
I disagree.
I have jumped and dove off many a cliff over the years and find it exhilarating!
Although I did only jump off the 100 footer once, and as I get older my height of comfort gets lower and lower.
Down to about 30 feet these days.
And no more back dives.

the ocean. Both of them look a little drunk, when one says to
the other: "Hey, look at the wind whipping up the side of that
cliff. It moves pretty fast. I'll bet I could jump off of the
ledge, catch the wind in my coat, and get lifted right back up to
the bar!"
"No way", says the other guy, "you'd fall to your death."
"Well, I'm going to try it!", says the first, and at that he walks
over, stands on the ledge, and leaps off in a swan dive. Sure
enough, he comes sailing back up in no time, and lands on his feet
right in front of the bar.
"I can't believe it!" says the second guy, "that's impossible" .
So the first drunk does it again: he jumps off the cliff, catches
the wind in his coat, and comes sailing back to the bar.
"Go ahead", he says, "try it, it's great!"
"Well, OK, I'm just drunk enough to give it a go", says the second
fellow. So he climbs the ledge and leaps off the cliff, only to
fall screaming to his death on the rocks below.
The first guy walks back to the bar and sits down to his drink.
The bartender steps over, looks him in the eye, and says to him:
"You know, you can be a real jerk sometimes when you've been
drinking, Superman".

We actually were able to do that as teenagers on the cliff at Waterton Lakes National Park. My lil' brother got blown back and ended up rolling thru the grass and didn't stop till he came to a big ol' rock!

Very sad situation, but it's pretty clear that Boardies in general have the sense of humor of the 4077th M*A*S*H Unit, so I really don't know why you're surprised.
This.
Tony...hilarious. I deal with life and tragedy just the way you do. If she was as Irish as she portrays herself to be then...oh what's the use...you insensitive asswipe.

I warn you… Paramedics often use black humour to relax… most Paramedics genuinely want to help people and do not like to see people get hurt… sometimes this sort of humour is just a way of letting go, or settling after a very bad situation, or accident. Paramedics see bad things every day (okay, not every day, but often), and although they wear the uniform, they’re not Superman, they do sometimes go home and take things seriously…

Insensitive to her parents/friends/family who have to live with this, and keep questioning if only they did something different.
Insensitive to whomever it is that has to clean up the splattered body/brains at the bottom. Someone, who most likely has a sense of humor, and a sense of compassion similar to Tony is busy scooping body parts into a bag, solely because some 21 YO could not deal with life.
Who knows, she may have been talking to some annoying Yank in a pub, and just couldn't handle it anymore...

You know who is an insensitive asswipe? The 21 YO who took the extra step at the cliffs.
